Dear Friends, I am writing to ask for your prayerful support for Terri Meushaw, our beloved Mid-Atlantic District Administrative Assistant. An MRI yesterday morning, 2/18, revealed Terri has a tumor near her brain stem. Doctors initial opinion is that the tumor appears to be malignant and is in an area that would make it inoperable. Several more tests will be conducted in the coming days to access if the cancer has spread. Plans for Terri and her husband Bill to discuss and begin radiation are scheduled for today and a second opinion from a team of neurosurgeons in Baltimore should be known the first of next week. Right now, Terri and her loved ones are praying for wisdom to know the options and make the best decisions. Please join them and me in that prayer, and I invite all who are receiving this to join me in praying that Jesus Christ our Great Physician will touch Terri with healing, provide her and her family with a strong sense of his presence and peace, will bring the uplifting support of the church to their side, and will give them and all of us the strength needed to see this through. Please share this concern and enlist all whom you can in prayerful support for Terri and her family. Terri, Bill and her family thank you for all that you will do.
